Andrew McCracken is Global Director of WaterAid International, the world’s largest NGO focused on getting clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere.  His previous roles include leading the Community Foundation in Northern Ireland and serving as Global Fundraising Director for Tearfund. After studying physics he worked in organizational development, fundraising, and change management in charity leadership contexts.

Andrew’s commitment to the CyberPeace Institute is rooted in his belief in the importance of civil society – that nothing changes for the better without people coming together to make those changes – and the importance of protecting cyberspace to allow them to do that.
